Liming Li, a 2nd-year PhD researcher from BonLab at The University of Warwick, will talk about his work at the 2026 British Early Career Mathematicians Colloquium to be held at the School of Mathematics at the University of Birmingham, UK. Liming will fascinate the audience on Thursday, the 25th of June (14:00-15:00, session 3), with his work on multi-scale modelling of moving-boundary dynamics and phase transitions in deep eutectic systems.

A delegation from our research team will attend the MacroGroup UK YRM 2026 meeting, which is hosted at Loughborough University this year.

Mars Poxon will give a talk on strategies to make polymer colloids that can reduce their molecular weight distributions in response to external triggers, and Liming Li will talk about small organic molecular eutetics and how to theoretically model their properties using molecular dynamics simulations.

Alex Fletcher, Zhebin “Jerry” Jiang, and Thomas Mecrow will present posters on their work, with our first-year undergraduate researcher, Dan Bradley, joining the ride to experience his first scientific conference.

Alex Fletcher, research fellow in BonLab at the University of Warwick, has been invited to talk at Surfex 2026. The title of his presentation is “Flip and Stick: "Polyester Latexes via Phase Inversion for Adhesive Applications”. His talk will take place in Theatre C at 14:40 on Tuesday, 9th June 2026.
